LEARNED HELPLESSNESS EXAMPLE

An example about Learned Helplessness would be cheating. Maybe there is a student that has not studied for a test and decides to cheat. The student might get caught cheating several times for being lazy enough to study. Teachers might caught the act and put a 0% on the test and a day of suspension. Since the student doesn't like to study, it wil cheat constantly and will get punished for it. There will be a point in which the student wont care if he recieves a punishment and would cheat for every test or quiz.
